Use Case: Completing a Lesson

Step 1: Access Your Lesson

Navigate to Dashboard (/platform) and click "Continue" or "Start Lesson" on the "Continue Learning" card. You can also find lessons via "Studies" in the sidebar or through "My Enrollments" → course → lesson list.

Step 2: Understand the Lesson Interface

Header Section

• Lesson Title and Course Name
• Progress Bar: visual completion indicator
• Previous/Next: move between lessons
• Save: manual save button

Main Content Area

• Content organized in sections with text, images, audio, and video
• Interactive exercises throughout
• Progress saves automatically

Step 3: Work Through Content

Engage with the content sequentially -- play audio for pronunciation, watch videos, and click images for a larger view.

Progress Saving

• Progress saved automatically every 30 seconds
• Exercise answers saved immediately
• Can resume from any point
• Use the manual save button before closing the browser

Step 4: Complete Exercises

Multiple Choice

1. Read question and review all options
2. Select your answer and click "Submit" or "Check"
3. Review feedback

Fill-in-the-Blank

1. Read the sentence/question
2. Type your answer in the blank field
3. Submit and review result

Matching

1. Click an item in the left column, then click its match in the right column
2. Continue until all items are matched
3. Click "Check Answers"

Audio Exercises

1. Click play button and listen (can replay)
2. Answer the associated question
3. For speaking exercises: record your response

Writing/Essay Tasks

1. Read the prompt
2. Write in the text area (rich text formatting and word counter available)
3. Submit for teacher review

Step 5: Complete the Lesson

Some lessons auto-complete after all exercises are done. Otherwise:

1. Scroll to end of lesson
2. Click "Complete Lesson"
3. Confirm completion

After Completing a Lesson

Your teacher can provide feedback after reviewing your work:

• For homework: Scores (1-5 stars) on Grammar/Accuracy, Vocabulary, and Overall Quality, plus a written comment.
• For live sessions: Scores (1-5) on Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Engagement, plus a written comment.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Lesson Won't Load

1. Check internet connection
2. Refresh page (F5 or Ctrl+R)
3. Clear browser cache
4. Try different browser
5. Contact support if persists

Issue: Exercises Not Saving

1. Check connection stability
2. Wait for save indicator
3. Try manual save button
4. Don't close tab while "Saving..." shows

Issue: Can't Complete Lesson

Possible causes: required exercises not done, technical error, or permission issue.

1. Check for incomplete exercises
2. Scroll through entire lesson
3. Refresh and try again
4. Contact teacher

Issue: Audio/Video Not Working

1. Check speakers/headphones
2. Allow browser media permissions
3. Try different browser
4. Contact teacher about technical issues
