Marketplace Licensed Materials
Buy exam-ready materials, understand school licenses, and manage assessment usage.
Marketplace materials are curated, ready-to-use lessons that can be added to your school programs. They are designed for repeated teaching workflows, especially exam preparation where teachers need reliable materials, controlled practice, and automated writing or speaking assessment.
Who this is for
Teachers and school staff who buy Marketplace materials for a program, class, homework assignment, or independent student practice.
What You Can Buy
Marketplace listings may be sold as:
| License | Best for | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Personal self-study | Individual students | One student buys and uses the material in their own library. |
| School package | Schools and cohorts | The organization buys the material, adds it to a program, and assigns it to students within the license limits. |
School packages can include:
- a seat limit
- a validity period
- included writing or speaking assessment credits
- optional add-ons for more seats, more credits, or renewal
Marketplace purchases give you controlled access to a ready material package. They do not give you the right to resell the same material outside your organization.

B1 NAWA Exam Packages
B1 NAWA Marketplace packages are built for Polish B1 exam preparation. They can include reading, listening, grammar, writing, and speaking tasks with exam-style instructions.
Typical school package sizes are:
| Package | Seats | Validity | Included assessment credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 10 | 90 days | 500 |
| School | 25 | 180 days | 1,500 |
| Academy | 100 | 365 days | 6,000 |
The exact limits are shown before purchase and on the school Marketplace license page.
Seats
A seat represents one student using a school-purchased Marketplace material under the organization license. Seats protect the school package from being reused for unlimited cohorts without upgrading.
If the seat limit is reached, the school can:
- buy an extra-seat add-on, if available
- buy a larger package for the next cohort
- stop assigning the material to additional students
Assessment Credits
Some Marketplace packages include automatic assessment credits. Credits are consumed when students use supported assessed widgets, such as:
- writing assessment
- speaking assessment
- Live Examiner assessment
Credits are tied to the Marketplace license. When included credits are depleted, additional assessments may be charged to the organization token balance if the school billing policy allows it.
Validity Period
The validity period controls how long the school can actively use the purchased package. When a license expires:
- existing records and past student work remain available
- new usage may be blocked or require renewal
- non-renewal add-ons may be unavailable until the license is renewed
Renewal add-ons extend the license without requiring the school to buy the whole package again.
Using Materials in Lessons and Homework
Marketplace exam materials can be used as:
- class lessons
- homework
- practice exercises
This is expected. Exam preparation often needs both classroom review and independent practice. The license limits apply to student usage and assessment capacity, not to the label of the lesson type.
Assessment Billing Outside Marketplace Exams
Teachers can also use writing, speaking, or Live Examiner assessment in school-generated lessons that are not Marketplace exam packages.
In that case, billing follows the school assessment policy:
- organization balance can pay for assessment when the school allows it
- student personal balance can pay when personal billing is allowed
- assessment can be blocked when neither source is available
Students should see the billing source before they trigger a paid assessment.
Billing Priority for Assessments
Use this decision order when explaining who pays for assessments and evaluations:
- Included Marketplace assessment credits are used first when the lesson belongs to a licensed package with remaining credits.
- Organization balance can pay next if the school billing policy allows school-paid assessment.
- Student personal balance can pay when personal billing is allowed and the student confirms the paid action.
- Assessment is blocked when no permitted funding source is available.
This applies to supported assessment widgets such as writing assessment, speaking assessment, and Live Examiner assessment. Configure the policy before assigning assessment-heavy homework so students do not discover a blocked assessment only after completing the task.
Limits and Responsibilities
- Review generated or purchased exam materials before assigning them.
- Do not rely on automated assessment as the only final grade.
- Monitor seats, expiry, and assessment credits on the school Marketplace license page.
- Buy add-ons before a cohort hits a hard limit.
- Do not resell copied Marketplace materials as your own listings.
