Who this is for
Organization Admins onboarding a new teacher into an existing school.
What this page answers
- How do I prepare the organization before inviting a teacher?
- What should I verify after registration?
- Which first tasks should the teacher complete?
Prerequisites
- an active organization
- enough shared tokens for initial teacher activity
- the teacher's email address
1. Prepare the invite
Before sending anything, confirm:
- the organization has an active token balance
- you know whether the teacher will build new courses or inherit existing students
- you have internal teaching guidelines or example courses ready to share
2. Generate and send the invite code
Open My School → Teachers, generate an invite code for the teacher's email address, and send it with:
- the platform URL
- a short explanation of the onboarding flow
- links to School Getting Started and Creating Courses
3. Verify the teacher account after registration
Once the teacher signs up, check that:
- the invite code is used successfully
- the teacher appears as active in your team list
- teaching languages, profile details, and availability are filled in
4. Walk them through the first production tasks
In the first week, most teachers should complete this sequence:
- open Getting Started
- create a draft course in Creating Courses
- open a lesson in the Lex Editor Guide
- schedule a test session through Live Sessions
5. Review the first output
Check one early course or lesson before students rely on it. This is the fastest way to catch:
- incomplete profile setup
- weak lesson structure
- missing scheduling readiness
- misunderstanding of school standards
